May 3, 2023
Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week is from 1-7 May, and is dedicated to talking about mental health problems before, during and after pregnancy.
Mental health problems can occur in the perinatal period (during pregnancy or in the first year following the birth of a child) and can affect 1 in 5 women.
Pivotal is committed to ensuring that all our colleagues, to include those with parental responsibility, are able to work in a supportive, professional and caring environment where they are valued and respected.
For more information, real life stories and self-help guides visit the Maternal Mental Health Alliance (a UK-wide charity dedicated to perinatal mental health) or search #TogetherInAChangingWorld #MaternalMHMatters #WorldMMHday on social media.
